CMS works as a sales agency for many leading market research publishers. You will not be involved in the research side of their work, as we specialise in the selling of their publications.
Our publisher partners and clients are based in countries from Australia through to the USA with our major markets being Europe and The USA.
Clients vary in size from small start-up operations to multi-nationals such as BP, Nokia and Vodafone (this is not an exhaustive list!).
Your Role
Your day to day role is to promote and sell off-the-shelf market research services. Your target market consists of your inherited past buyers and respondents to any promotional work you have conducted.
When these sources are not producing sales you will be expected to drive sales from alternative sources - this can and will include cold-calling industry executives such as CEOs, CTOs, Vice Presidents and Business Development Directors.
Follow-up work to past buyers and respondents will consist of phone work and e-mail based correspondence.
Person Specification
We are looking for people who are:
- Multi-talented and capable of learning on the job and using your own intuition (we can guide you but ultimately there is no script for what we do).
- Self-confident but not arrogant.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Independent, but also a good team worker.
- Attention to detail and patience necessary for creating promotional e-mails and building up e-mail lists.
- Can deal with rejection
